Marvel
GENERAL
Look at his impressive front, the enormous length of his front-leg and see what specific characteristics Marvel can offer the breeding industry. Marvel is useful to breeders who can think ahead in generations and who, having a Marvel daughter, can choose almost any stallion without having inbreeding problems.
PEDIGREE
Marvel is the only half-blood saddle-bred stallion and the only stallion without Hackney blood to serve the breeding industry, and that alone makes him well suited for wide use in breeding. His sire is the American Saddlebred Immigrant who also produced the approved black stallion Majesteit. Majesteit is stationed in the USA. Dam Heidebloem is a daughter of the preferent stallion Proloog (by Hoogheid x Sirius) and has also the swinging Indiaan-son Strawinsky (see History under S) in her pedigree.
ACHIEVEMENTS
Marvel remains a real trendsetter who reduces inbreeding and produces fantastic performers. As in the years before Marvel’s offspring performed very well again in 2007.
Tasman and Toronto are valued assets of the Landzicht stables. Red Jack and Teunis-Jan gathered quite some points too. Young talents are Wantij, Willem van Oranje and Wiscounsin Landzicht and the mares Sidee (sport), Susan, Terina Landzicht and Uroos are striking show horses.
Marvel offspring is regularly placed in the top ranks. But Viva Jerina, owned by Dinie Markhorst, is Marvel’s most beautiful daughter. She is the most beautiful of the Netherlands! Viva Jerina was Champion of the three-year-olds in 2005 and in 2006 she became the Champion of keur and elite mares.
MARVEL has been definitely approved in 2006 because of his fantastic offspring.
